Kimono Marci Box Drawer with Easel

This is a project made for a special birthday for a special friend............inspired by one of the projects from one of the past La-la Land Workshops (link to project found here).  Paper from retired My Little Shoebox Cherry Delight: Serenade, Charming. Brown, Kraft, Green and White card stock from Recollections. Pink card stock is Bazzil.  Paper Board Drawer Box from La-la Land Crafts, unfortunately  this product is no longer available. Yay - I still have a couple more kits I can use to dress up.  Kimono Marci Stamp is the main focus and is part of the easel style top. Finished size is 4" x 6" x 4" with card flat.  Lots of photos below.
Here's a closer look at the easel card section of the project:
Kimono Marci is cut out, then popped with foam squares. Lantern Boarder is die cut 3 times using brown card stock so it would be more sturdy since it extends pass the card base.
Copic colors used:
Hair: W2, W4, W6. W8
Skin: E000, E00, E01, E11, R11, R20
Umbrella, Kimono contrast, Shoes: E34, E35, RV00, R81. R83, R85
Dress: Paper Pieced.
Taylor Expressions: Build a Scene - Swirly Clouds used behind the Pagoda.  Pagoda is die cut, Vellum card stock added behind the windows, then popped with foam squares. Add the bridge die cut in Kraft card stock with a woodgrain stamp for texture (only pop the bridge ends with foam squares). Note the Grass Boarder is die cut in two shades of green, then attached offset for some dimension.
On  the left side: On the lid, a strip of 3/8" wide pink grosgrain ribbon sits on top of the 5/8" wide brown grosgrain. Then paper and silk flowers are secured as an anchor to hold the card up.  Leaves are flocked - ends of both flowers and leaves are curled around a smallpaint brush.
On the right side of the lid: die cut and glue 7 layers of Cherry Blossom Flowers in brown card stock, one layer of pink card stock, and final top layer in pattern paper to achieve this look.

The fence is wrapped around the corners of the bottom box.  Find this SVG cut file from SVGcuts.com from their collection Spring Blossoms called here. Import the cut file onto the Silhouette cutting machine, then reconfigure it as needed to use for this corner.
Cuttlebug Asian Cherry Blossom embossing folder used on the side and back oval pieces. Lantern dies have Card Stock Vellum behind them.
Cherry Blossom die cut in brown card stock adhered to the box back.
Wooden Finial Dowel Cap End painted in brown found on Ebay
La-la Land Craft Dies used:
Cherry Blossom Branch, Cherry Blossom Flowers, Pagoda, Bridge, Grass Boarder, Lanterns, Lanterns Boarder
These dies and the Kimono Marci stamp can be found here.

This was a fun project to make - it turned out much better than expected...............have a crafty day.
