LLC Retreat Bumble Bee Marci Tri-fold Card

Day 1: Project #7
Stamp used is Bumble Bee Marci found here in the La-la Land Crafts Store..  This unique tri-fold card is designed by Debbie Pamment (her blog here). Debbie uses 6 different dies to embellish this unique card.  Cool, eh?
Stretched out, this card is 5-1/2" x 11-1/4".
Folded, this card finishes 5-1/4" x 4-1/4":
Top view of card:
A closer look at the Copic colored popped up image (thank goodness colors for using Copic pens was included at the LLC Retreat!). Some Star Dust Stickles added to her wings and antennae give her that final sparkle.
Here are those rolled roses in the corner - we became experts at rolling roses after 2013 Retreat. Shown here is the Open Leaf Flourish and Small and Medium Rolled Roses Die.
And, the Honeycomb and popped up Build a Bee dies used on the center panel. The contrasting bee colors add much more interest to the card. Some of the Honeycomb negative space cut outs are also popped up giving the card even more interest. Star Dust Stickles is added to the Bee wings.
The die used here is the Birthday Flag with gold adhesive rhinestones and a contrast back so the words show even more:
On the right panel, the Lattice Doily Boarder die finishes the edge along with a popped up Build a Bee. Some scattered popped up negative Honeycomb pieces are used as embellishment, too.
Now did you not love this unique tri-fold or what?  I love that Debbie had cut all the pieces and dies for us - we needed to assemble this card which was quite a task.  Thank you, Debbie, for all your work on this project!  Stay tuned for additional projects from the 2014 LLC Retreat.
