Initial Sewing Notebook

Here's another notebook "blank" made for a very good friend (the first one was posted on May 4th). She works in the garment industry in Hawaii so the chipboard elements from Maya Road really came in handy for this project. The notebook is packaged in a Stampin-Up case and wrapped with a printed twill tape measure. The pattern paper has pinked and sponged brown edges.

Here is one of the Maya Road sewing machine embellishment covered using black ink, then adding Silver and Gold Stickles. The scalloped metal embellishment is something from my stash (made by Making Memories Metal Sayings) - yay, I finally got to use it.

The dress form from Maya Road is inked with brown and black ink, then decorated with some cluny lace (also inked in brown) from my stash. "L" is cut out using the Sizzix Big Alphabet die in red adhered to lightweight chipboard. I love all those random buttons scattered around the front.
Of course, more charms: from Blue Moon Beads which can be found at your local craft store. Red embroidery floss was used for this project.
Notebook inside: more Maya Road chipboard elements:
And, here is the inside with the 4" x 6" note pad.
That's all for today...............make something fun and have a great crafty day!!!
